BioYep. I'm Rhi. I guess that I'm an artsy individual with a bit of a god-complex and a dry, sometimes sick brand of humour.
Aside from that fluff, I'm generally amiable towards those who don't outwardly irritate me. I'm a bit of an arrogant narcissist, or so I'm told. But on the flip side, I'm a hopeless geek who is known to crack out on the Devil May Cry series, in addition to playing White Wolf RPs with a select group. I play both sides of the reality spectrum by geeking out in the sciences as well as delving (as a skeptic) into paranormal and metaphysical research. It's an odd sort of balance, but the stuff fascinates me.
I'm currently attending the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, finishing up BS degrees in geology and Japanese. I intend to pursue graduate studies in paleontology...just so I can traipse around in the desert and claim that it's for science.
My current research entails the study of late Permian rocks and invertebrate marine fossils. So far, I have examined samples collected from a site in Nevada containing a rare comfortable P-Tr boundary (possibly the only one in North America). In the upcoming fall semester, I will be attending Kansai Gaidai in Hirakata, Japan where I will have the opportunity to visit and collect from Japanese outcrops which also contain exposed permotriassic boundaries. Geekgasm.
I am also a member of House Kheperu, and therefore am able to field any related questions.
